Watershapes where art and science flow as one. A watershape refers to any pool, pond, waterfall, spa, fountain and/or all other forms of contained, controlled water. Creating or constructing a completely functional and beautiful watershape is not something that happens by accident or good luck. It is planned, calculated, shaped digitally and on paper, worked, and reworked until the two seemingly unrelated concepts, art and science, are melded into one seamless system. At Gresham Design, that is precisely what I do. Because a watershape is a blend of so many disciplines- hydraulics, plumbing, electrical, masonry, and hydro-dynamics- a proper design is critical. The path to a good design is achieved through experience and dedication, things that I place a high premium on. Take a moment to read a little further and look at some of my photos before you leave.
